Superb Dolbi Cashier Solid Brass Modernist Koons Style Bear Bookends Circa 1980s

Fantastic vintage solid brass teddy bear bookends. Both are in excellent condition with no dents, damage or repairs. I have painted them in a gloss metallic hammered black color as an ohmage to Jeff Koons. Thought they would be the perfect subject as the look similar in style to his work. They have been also given a clear Lacquer top coat so that there will be no chipping or fading in paint color. I have also added an industrial grade rubber backing to the entire backsides, so they can be staged sitting up or with their legs up and can hold just about any weight of books without slipping. Great pop art set perfect for any décor. Book not included.
